Ice Cream is non-fiction information book about everything dealing with ice cream. It discusses how ice cream first was made and how we make it today. The book shared some interesting facts such as; Thomas Jefferson may have been the first person to bring vanilla ice cream to the states. It goes on to give lots of information for all things related; sundae’s, the cone, banana splits, shakes, etc. This was fun book with wonderful illustrations. I personally found all of the unknown facts very interesting. Nearly everyone can relate the topic of this book and find interest in. This would be a great book to read aloud to a class and prompt countless activities.
